The Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair – fast becoming the premier event of its type in New South Wales. The Fair is growing year on year; in 2011 it brought approximately $450,000 into the Oberon area. About 2700 visitors and over 350 entrants were attracted to the Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair over three days.
The Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair encourages all businesses, both local and national to form a partnership with it.

Being considered the premier heritage event of its type in the Central Tablelands and Central West the Highlands
Steam & Vintage the Fair receives exposure on radio and television. In 2011 Move FM Lithgow crossed live to the grounds on Saturday for most of the day.
